An Asian-leaning coffee shop on 1st Ave

Five bucks for the mochi bun. Charcoal-black on the outside, properly chewy, and there’s a little pocket of matcha paste inside — enough that you can taste it but it doesn’t take over. Less sweet than I expected. More of a snack than a dessert, honestly.

The matcha latte was strong, not watered down at all (oat milk). Came back another day for the sho latte, which has a floral thing going on and isn’t too syrupy either.
